Hydrogeology and water environment protection
Hydrogeology, hydrology of water-soluble mineral deposits is the mail goal of research performed in the research laboratory of hydrogeology and water environment protection of VNII Galurgii JSC (Saint Petersburg branch).
Main activities:
- hydrogeology of mineral deposits in the stages of exploration, implementation and operation: studying formation factors of dynamic mode and chemical composition of groundwater;
- scientific-methodological assistance with monitoring of mine brine manifestations;
- monitoring research of hydrosphere state;
- monitoring of hydrotechnical structure safety;
- monitoring of the objects of surface salt waste storage;
- development of water protection measures;
- monitoring of state of hydromineral raw materials deposit and processing technique.
