Research laboratory of fertilizers and salt process (branch of VNII Galurgii JSC in Saint Petersburg).
The laboratory continues research and traditions of the process laboratory – the oldest institute’s laboratory, and carries out the following studies:
- Production of chlorine free potash fertilizers – potassium sulphate, potassium magnesia, potassium nitrate and other fertilizers from natural raw materials or chemical products;
- Development of processing modes and equipment for halurgic processing of mineral raw materials (processes of solution, thickening, crystallization, regulated vacuum- crystallization, evaporation, filtration, centrifugalization);
- Development of models for managing technological processes of halurgical processing of potash raw materials;
- Development of technology for evaporation and processing of K, Na, Mg chloride solutions;
- Conducting technological testing of ores from new areas of the potash-magnesium ore deposit and issuing initial data for the feasibility study of processing these ores;
- Development of the initial data for design of reconstruction of the operating potash plants and construction of new potash plants;
- Engineering and technical support for project implementation;
- Development of technological production regulations.
